At Cascade Flight Academy, we believe flight training should be more than just logging hours; it should be personal, practical, and accessible.

Cascade Flight Academy was founded by Zack and Nathan after seeing a growing need for change in the current flight school environment. Too often, students are met with overcrowded schedules, inconsistent instruction, aging aircraft, and training programs that feel impersonal or out of reach. They set out to build something different for the greater Portland aviation community: a modern flight school centered around quality instruction, well-equipped aircraft, and a student experience that puts people first.

Built on a shared passion for aviation and a commitment to doing things the right way, Cascade Flight Academy focuses on creating confident, capable pilots through real-world flying experience. Training in the Pacific Northwest provides students with exposure to diverse weather, complex airspace, and a wide variety of flying environments preparing them for aviation beyond the checkride.
